Nigeria's Super Falcons Stage Thrilling Comeback to Defeat Morocco 3-2

In a heart-stopping Women's Africa Cup of Nations match, Nigeria's Super Falcons came from behind to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory over Morocco. The Moroccan team took an early lead, with Ghizlane Chebbak scoring in the 12th minute and Sanaâ Mssoudy doubling their advantage in the 24th minute.


However, the Super Falcons refused to give up. In the second half, Esther Okoronkwo pulled one back for Nigeria from the penalty spot in the 64th minute. Just seven minutes later, Folashade Florence Ijamilusi levelled the score, sending the crowd into a frenzy.


The match was intense, with both teams creating scoring opportunities. But in the end, it was Nigeria's determination that paid off. Jennifer Echegini sealed the win with a stunning late goal in the 88th minute, completing the Super Falcons' remarkable comeback.


Nigeria dominated the match statistics, with 55% possession, 14 shots (5 on target), and 280 passes completed with 69% accuracy. The Super Falcons' victory was well-deserved, and their fans will be thrilled with the team's performance. Despite the high intensity, the game was fair, with no yellow or red cards issued.
