The opening three weeks of the APFAN Super League have already delivered drama, excitement, and flashes of brilliance across Ogun State. With strong performances, Exciting displays, and vibrant fan culture, the league is quickly proving why it is the heartbeat of grassroots football.

Week 1 opened with Superstars United, the defending league champions announcing themselves in style, defeating Unizee FA 2–0 in a confident display. On the same weekend, Ighalo FA edged out MD FA 2–1, showing grit and efficiency.


In Week 2, MKA FA and MD FA shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw, while Unizee FA were held by Rainbow FA in another tense 1–1 encounter. DRV FC looked lively but were undone by EK FC, who took a narrow 2–1 victory. 


Week 3 brought high drama. MD FA exploded in attack, thrashing Zion Liberty 4–2, while Rainbow FA stunned Rising Royal with a sharp 2–0 win. Ighalo FA and BE Arena cancelled each other out in a cagey 0–0 draw. The highly anticipated Superstars vs MKA clash was postponed due to an unfortunate road incident involving MKA, adding even more tension to the weeks ahead.

• At the other end, Rising Royal, DRV FA, and Zion Liberty are still searching for their first points, while BE Arena and MKA FA have managed just one point each from their opening fixtures.
