Kidnapping Reported at Farm Settlement After Agoro River in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State


A kidnapping incident has been reported at a farm settlement in Okun-Owa, after the Agoro River, a community bordering Odogbolu and Ijebu-Ode Local Government Areas of Ogun State.

Information available to Infocity News indicates that the attack was allegedly carried out by suspected Fulani herdsmen, triggering fear and panic among residents of the settlement.

Community sources say residents have raised an alarm and are urgently calling on security agencies to move in immediately and rescue the victims, as the assailants are believed not to have gone far from the area.

As of the time of filing this report, no official statement has been released by security authorities.
